PHP Security Vulnerabilities? Not Our Cup of Coffee.

by | Oct 26, 2026

The cybersecurity world has been buzzing about recently disclosed critical PHP security vulnerabilities, CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619, collectively known as PHP2Shell, sending IT teams scrambling to check their systems, apply patches, and make sure everything is secure.

At Inex Technologies, we checked too.

The good news? We don’t use the affected PHP software in our products or cloud services.

Our license plate recognition (LPR/ALPR), vehicle identification, access control, and IZCloud solutions are not impacted by these vulnerabilities.

No emergency patches. No frantic late-night updates. And, most importantly, no action required from our customers.

Of course, cybersecurity is never a one-and-done exercise. We continue to monitor emerging threats and regularly evaluate the security of our products and services.

But as far as CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619 are concerned, we’re happy to report that this is one security headache we get to skip.

Now, back to recognizing license plates and opening gates and doors.
